The new Chrome-based Opera has been around for a couple of days, enough for anyone interested to get an idea of what to expect. Quite obviously, what most people noticed is what's missing, and it's quite a lot.
This is the very first release of this brand new Opera, so more things are coming. In fact, Opera has already talked about a few of the features that are most definitely making a return.
"As we have mentioned in the comments and we want to say it loud now – more features will come in future versions," Opera explained.
"Just to mention Link, themes support, geolocation and a feature rich tab bar to start with. Some are already in the making - just disabled since not stable enough just yet," it added.
"Over the time also our settings/configuration will become richer too. And one more - Dragonfly is not dead though we cannot give you more information yet," it said.
Of course, the existing features will be rounded out as well. The settings page, for example, is quite lacking at this point. Stash, the new Opera's take on bookmarks, is probably getting some big updates as well.
