Winamp exists more than 10 years. It was modified some times and sometimes it was on the step of close. But never the less it is continuing to update actively.
Its latest versions support not only audio but video, internet-radio and internet-TV broadcasting. For a long time it supports very "strong" cataloging of the multimedia files. It has built-in and multifunctional visualize tool, plugins support. A wide range of plugins and skins for it were created.
The Winamp team of developers timed the release of version 5.5 to the tenth anniversary of the project. The other day new player received new update – version 5.551. The list of its modifications contains some error corrections.
