Norwegian company Opera Software deals in similar browser development for more than 10 years. Version 7 was glad its admirers completely modified Presto engine that is used now too. The latest serious modification was last summer when was the Opera 9 release. Now the index of the version grew till 9.64.
New release has to do with Kestrel engine that is started from version 9.50. It brings a lot of modifications and updates. Among them is the supporting of the HTML 5 that is not completely accepted. Now the team of developers deals with version 10 development and improvement of the Kestrel stability and functionality.
The other day Opera 9.64 was released. The main modifications were in security bugs fixing.
