The Windows 9 File Explorer needs to look like thisJust like any other new Windows contraption, Windows 9 is expected to come with plenty of improvements, some of which are also supposed to make the interface a bit more appealing.

While Microsoft remains completely tight-lipped on the Windows 9 project, designers are already hard at work to create concepts envisioning one or more features to be implemented in the next major Windows release.

The Windows 9 File Explorer needs to look like this

DeviantArt user Francisco Trejo has sketched a Windows Explorer concept that could be introduced in a future Windows version, even though we all know that Microsoft will most likely stick to the current design.

According to some unofficial reports, Windows 9 is very likely to see daylight in November 2014, while Microsoft is expected to launch the public beta of the operating system in January 2014.

If you've been living under a rock for the past two months, Microsoft will also debut Windows Blue, the first major Windows 8 upgrade, sometime this summer.
