Firefox 9.0 goes beta, delivers JavaScript performance boost

Mozilla Firefox logo Still going with the pedal on the floor, Mozilla has already made available a public beta version of the next major Firefox release, build 9.0. This update brings better JavaScript performance and improved support for HTML5, MathML and CSS.

Firefox 9.0 also features some stability fixes as well as:

Improved theme integration for Mac OS X Lion
Added two finger swipe navigation for Mac OS X Lion
Added support for querying Do Not Track status via JavaScript
Added support for font-stretch
Improved support for text-overflow

The Firefox 9.0 beta is available here for Windows, Mac OS and Linux.
