Apple Safari 5.1.1

Safari browser was released with Mac OS X 10.3 and became very wide spread with Apple platform. Its popularity is so high, that the percent of setups are counting not only for Apple computers but for all operationing systems.

Based on WedKit, which is implemented on KHTML rendering engine, Safari is very high-speed, fast and suppors a lot of modern web-standards. Apple decided to release the third version of Safari for two operating systems: Windows and Mac OS X.

Apple’s browser became the third big Apple application, that is ported to Windows (QuickTime and iTunes were before). It corresponds to all browser requirements: has built-in tabs, RSS-reader, pop-up blocker and others.

The other day new version with 5.1.1 index was released. It contains security bug fixes, improved stability and improved performance. It is possible to download Safari from Apple official site:
