Just last month, the Mozilla released Firefox 2.0 Beta 1 which gave users a glimpse at what to expect from the company's next generation browser. We've learned that Mozilla has delayed the release of Firefox 2.0 Beta 2. The latest release of the popular browser was supposed to be unveiled to customers this week, but was put on hold due to persistent bugs reports Dailytech.
Although Beta 2 has been put on hold, this will not affect the September 26 launch for the final release of Firefox 2.0. Mozilla's latest browser adds a number of new features to the mix including integrated spell checking, enhanced search capabilities, session saver and anti-phishing technologies. Despite all of the advances (many of which can be added with extensions to Firefox 1.5.0.6) some have said that Firefox no longer has commanding lead over competing browsers such as Internet Explorer 7.0.
