Winamp exists more than 10 years. It was modified some times and several times it was in step of to be closed. But never the less its development is continuing.
Its latest versions support not only audio but video, internet-radio and internet-TV broadcasting. For a long time it supports very strong cataloging of the multimedia files. It has built-in and multifunctional visualize tool, plugins support. A wide range of plugins and skins for it were created.
The Winamp team of developers timed the release of version 5.5 to the tenth anniversary of the project. The other day new player received new update – version 5.62. The list of its modifications contains some error corrections.
