The game development legend finally staggers over the finishing line. Are you playing it?
They said it would never happen. They said he would never return. They said that Duke Nukem Forever would never grace the shelves of your local game emporium. They were wrong. Today is a day for both kicking ass and chewing gum, even if you're all out of gum. Always bet on Duke...
Development of Duke Nukem Forever began in 1997 and now, fifteen years on, many of the teenagers that pined for the iconic babe-hungry misogynist are mature, level-headed family-men. No wonder demand for Duke's own brand of man-on-alien (and lady-on-lady) action is running at an all time high.
Is the game up to snuff though? A paucity of early review code would suggest that publisher 2K are worried that its lengthy gestation has created an archaic game with flashy graphics. And boobs.
Are you playing it? Is it worth the hype? Can we all Hail to the King?
