Google's Chrome OS may be out in full featured form in about a month's time, according to bug comments that indicate the code is in Release Candidate status. This is a sure showing that the OS is nearing finalization, and the most recent build has been identified as a near-ready 0.9.78.1. Another hint is a Google employee's mention of a November 11 date when asked about a specific feature of the OS in a Google code thread.
November 11 could be the deadline for the product, with shipping scheduled shortly thereafter, possibly within a week. This would put the release at one year after its original unveiling.
Also coming is the Chrome Web Store sneak peak, which would presumably work with Chrome OS and is due for a launch in October.
