CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5 debuts

Corel logoCorel has today let loose a new version of the CorelDRAW suite of professional graphics applications, which is claimed to have over fifty new and enhanced features. According to its maker, CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5's updates include a re-designed color management engine, Windows 7 optimization and touch-screen support, better file compatibility, improved web graphics and animation tools, a new full color, hard-cover guidebook and video tutorials, plus a new application - Corel CONNECT.

What Corel CONNECT does is sync with the CorelDRAW and Corel PHOTO-PAINT apps so as to enable quick access to content on a computer, network, or disc. CONNECT also lets users easily collaborate and exchange files with clients and colleagues in order to improve workflow.

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5 is available 'in full' for $489, but users of previous versions can get the update version for as low as $189.
