iOS 8.4 Beta 3 is now available for download

iOS 8 logoAfter having announced the release of the OS X 10.10.4 Yosemite Public Beta 2 and Xcode 6.4 Beta 3, Apple is happy to introduce today the third Beta of the upcoming iOS 8.4 mobile operating system for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices.

According to the internal release notes, iOS 8.4 Beta 3 (build 12H4098c) is here to repair duplicate entry issues with featured iTunes Radio stations in iTunes Store, as well as display problems with Buy buttons in Top Charts when using the iTunes Store in landscape mode on iPads.

Additionally, the third Beta of iOS 8.4 addresses two bugs in the Videos app, one related to the Library, which could appear blank if the user connects via Home Sharing to get content, and another one related to iTunes Extras, which wasn't always playing correctly.

Before attempting to install iOS 8.4 Beta 3, we should warn you that it's a pre-release software that contains numerous unresolved issues and that you won't be able to return to iOS 8.3, which is the current stable version. If you agree with this, download the iOS 8.4 Beta 3 IPSW file that corresponds to your iOS device from the list below.

Connect your iOS device to your computer (Mac or Windows), open the iTunes application, go to your device, press Shift + click (on Windows) or Alt + click (on Mac OS X) on the "check for update" button, and then choose the downloaded IPSW file and let the software update to install.
