Safari browser was released with Mac OS X 10.3 received a great spreading with Apple platform. Its popularity is so high, that the percent is set not only for Apple computers but for all operational systems.

Based on WedKit, which is implemented on KHTML render engine, Safari is very high-speed, using a few resources and supporting a lot of modern web-standards facility of Internet surfing. Apple decided to release the third version of Safari for two operational systems: Windows and Mac OS X.

Apple’s browser became the third big Apple application, that is ported at Windows (QuickTime and iTunes were before). It corresponds to all browser requirements: has built-in tab system, RSS-reader, pop-ups blocker and others.

The other day new version with index 4.0.1 was released. There are security bugs fixing, improved stability and raised productivity. It is possible to download it from Apple official site:
