In the shadow of the Consumer Electronics Show, one of the original creators of Twitter has debuted a new mobile service seeking to link people with questions to users with answers. The newly released "Jelly" smartphone app queries users for solutions rather than internet search engines.
Biz Stone, CEO and founder of Jelly says that "Everyone is mobile, everyone is connected. So if you have a question, there's somebody out there that knows the answer."
The new service is available for free, and lets users submit questions to existing friends that are on Twitter or Facebook. Users can send a question in plain text, or circle an item in a photograph to ask for help identifying an object.
