New Samsung tablets with 12.2, 10-inch displays rumored in development

Samsung logoSamsung could be working on two more unannounced tablets to add to its extensive range, according to a rumor. The Samsung SM-P900 is said to have a 12.2-inch display at a resolution of 2560x1600 and S-Pen compatibility, while the SM-P600 would retain the same resolution but opts for a smaller 10-inch sizing, making it relatively similar to the Google Nexus 10.

The message on the @evleaks Twitter account picked up by Mobile Geeks mentions that the SM-P900 would have an Exynos 5 Octa processor, something that uses four ARM Cortex-A15 cores at 1.8GHz with four extra Cortex-A7 cores at 1.3GHz for a big.LITTLE processing implementation. The smaller P600 is said to use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.

While the details are still just a rumor, it is likely that more information about the two tablets, the Galaxy Note 3, and Samsung's smart watch could be revealed before or during IFA.
