Nokia to announce Lumia 1000, 720, 520 at MWC

Nokia logoDetails relating to a number of smartphones that could be announced by Nokia at Mobile World Congress at the end of the month have leaked. Mobile phone going by the names Lumia 1000, Lumia 720, and Lumia 520 have been discovered at various places online, all of which appear to be Windows Phone 8 devices.

A list of phones from a China Mobile registration page discovered by Mobile Geeks lists the Lumia 1000, something that could be the rumored 41-megapixel handset rumored about last month. If it is, the codenamed EOS phone will become the Windows Phone equivalent of Nokia's 808 PureView.

The Lumia 720 and Lumia 520 appear on a database from Postel in Indonesia, as found by Live Side. The model numbers shown appear to be successors to the Lumia 710 and Lumia 510, though it's naming convention of ending with the number 20 means they will likely be running on Windows Phone 8.

The Lumia 720, codenamed Zeal, apparently has a 4.3-inch screen, 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of storage and a Zune-like design.

The Lumia 520, which should be the handset codenamed the Flame, will share the processor and RAM from the Zeal, but will have a smaller 4-inch display, 4GB of storage, and a 5-megapixel camera. It will also have 4G connectivity, if the leaked T-Mobile roadmap picked up by TmoNews is correct.
