Sony unveils work-in-progress 20.5-inch OLED display

Sony logo Sony is unveiling its latest in flat-panel display technologies, a 20.5-inch organic LED (OLED) display panel, at Radiological Society of North America meeting, held in Chicago, USA. The 20.5-inch monochrome panel is still work-in-progress, and being developed for high-resolution imaging systems.

Its output resolution is 2560 x 2048 pixels (5:4 aspect ratio), with extremely high contrast ratio, and up to 500 cd/m² maximum brightness.
