Lenovo Introduces $349 IdeaTab S2109 Tablet

Lenovo logoLenovo today announced the IdeaTab S2109 ? a slim tablet built for entertainment with features like four SRS surround sound speakers, Micro HDMI output, a 9.7-inch IPS HD display and running the new Google Android 4.0 operating system.

The IdeaTab S2109 is powered by a new Texas Instruments OMAP 4430 dual core CPU and 1GB of system memory. Other features include HDMI-out (full 1080p support), four SRS surround sound speakers, and a microSD slot for expanded storage.

The tablet measures 1/3 of an inch thin. It?s also easy to tote around in a bag or jacket at a feather-light 1.27 lbs.

Lenovo IdeaTab S2109

Running Lenovo's interface, the IdeaTab S2109 displays customized content and includes easy access to the Lenovo App Shop and the Android Market. The device can also deliver up to 10 hours of battery life for web browsing and video playback (or 700 hours on standby).

The IdeaTab S2109 starts at $349 and will be available for purchase in early June at select Office Depot retail locations and Lenovo.com.
