While Blizzard is being all coy about a launch date for its eagerly anticipated dungeon-crawler Diablo 3, Amazon has listed it for release on April 17.
Retailers regularly list release dates for games before they've been officially dated, and a lot of the time they're wide of the mark, so we wouldn't get too excited yet. Sometimes, however, they're on the money.
So far, Blizzard has only committed to a second quarter 2012 release for Diablo 3, and even then it has only said it's "targeting" that window. The teases.
The World of Warcraft and StarCraft dev recently assured fans that Diablo 3 is in "great shape" after one of its own community managers indicated otherwise.
