All of the big names in the smartphone market at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) to show off their latest products. HTC is no exception, as it is launching a trio of new Android-powered smartphones.
The One X is the flagship of HTC's new "One" family and comes packing a 1.5GHz, quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. You likely won't be noticing hiccups when using the One X as the Tegra 3 has been an absolute screamer in the Transformer Prime tablet. The 9.27mm-thick smartphone features a massive 4.6" screen with a resolution of 1280x720.

Other features include 1GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 8MP camera, Beats Audio and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (for better or worse, Sense 4.0 is plastered atop ICS).
While the One X will come with a quad-core Tegra three in its home market, those destined for the U.S. will come with a 1.5GHz, dual-core processor (Qualcomm MSM8960). The U.S. market “One XL” will work on AT&T’s 4G LTE network.
Lower down the totem pole is the One S. This mid-range model is 7.9mm-thick and packs a 1.5GHz, dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. The screen measures 4.3" and you'll find a resolution of 960x540. Like it's big brother, the One S comes with the same 8MP camera, and Android 4.0/Sense 4.0 combination.

That leaves us with the entry-level One V. The One V brings back the "chin" that we all remember from the original HTC Dream. The One S makes do with a 3.7" (800x480) screen, 1GHz single-core processor, 512MB ram, 5MP camera, Beats Audio and Android 4.0/Sense 3.6.

With the exception of the processor switcheroo on the One X/XL, we must applaud HTC for launching all three of its new smartphones with Ice Cream Sandwich straight from the factory. Too often these days we see manufactures launch brand new smartphones running Android 2.3, then promise to release ICS “at a later date”.
