Well-known motherboard, PC and graphics card maker MSI has today introduced its own GeForce GT 440s, two models that feature custom cooling, stock clocks, DirectX 11 support and utilize Military Class II components (Hi-c CAPs, Solid Capacitors and Super Ferrite Chokes).
The N440GT-MD512D5 has a full-height PCB (printed circuit board), 96 CUDA Cores, GPU/shader clocks of 810/1620 MHz, a 128-bit memory interface, and 512MB of memory set to 3200 MHz. This one can be found on pre-order ?91.
The N440GT-MD1GD3/LP comes with a half-height PCB, a dual-fan cooler, and has pretty much the sale specs as its sibling except it boasts 1GB of DDR3 memory @ 1800 MHz and costs ?74.
Both of MSI's card have a TDP of 56W and include D-sub, DVI and HDMI 1.4a outputs, just enough for a good, 3D-ready HTPC.
