AMD puts out FirePro 2270, V5800 DVI pro graphics

AMD logoAMD on Monday introduced the FirePro 2270 and FirePro V5800 DVI graphics cards meant for professionals, specifically those in the medical, financial, design and engineering fields. Both have low power consumption and deliver multi-display capabilities. The 2270 is AMD's only low-profile, passively-cooled graphics card that can support dual displays and triple set support.

The V5800 DVI is more potent, at 1GB of GDDR5 RAM and a 128-bit memory interface, and capable of driving two high-resolution dual link DVI displays and stretch one application across both screens.
