According to a fresh report Acer is going to spice up its Aspire One family of netbooks with a new model that makes use of yet-unannounced AMD hardware.
Known as Aspire One 521, the upcoming portable machine packs a 10.1-inch display, the 1.2 GHz AMD V105 single-core CPU (9W TDP) which is supposed to be officially introduced next month, DDR3 memory, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4225 integrated graphics, and a hard drive.
Seen below, the AO 521 also provides optional Bluetooth 3.0 support, boasts a battery enabling up to 7 hours of operation, and includes a wannabe eye-catching chromed logo on the display cover. There's no word on price or a release date but we'll probably find out more in the weeks to come.
