HTC is one of the smartphone companies that still bleeds money. After its successful HTC One, the Taiwanese company didn't seem to be able to innovate enough to remain competitive in the smartphone industry.
However, it looks like HTC will continue to launch flagship smartphones each year. Although the regularity with which it expanded its portfolio in the last couple of years has suffered greatly, HTC still plans to launch a flagship handset next year.
We're not sure about the name of the phone, so we're going to refer to it as HTC 11. Well, it looks like the first details about HTC's next flagship have just emerged online directly from China. If HTC decides to follow the usual pattern, then the HTC 11 will be launched next spring, probably in May.
We're not sure whether the information leaked from China is 100% accurate, but it doesn't seem unusual either. In fact, the specs that the HTC 11 might pack under the hood could be standard for a flagship device.
For example, the phone is said to boast a 5.5-inch curved display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution. Also, the phone should pack a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera, while in the front there's a secondary 8-megapixel selfie camera.
