Apple Watch 2 rumored to arrive in September or October

Apple logoIt’s been over a year since Apple came out with its first smartwatch and there’s a lot of excitement to see how the company is going to improve the Apple Watch. The company itself hasn’t confirmed anything about its Apple Watch plans just yet, but rumor has it that the Apple Watch 2 could arrive later this year in September or October, possibly soon after the new iPhones are unveiled in September.

DigiTimes reports that the supply chain for the Apple Watch 2 expects a September or October 2016 debut for the company’s second smartwatch but they’re not counting on a huge launch for the device. Apparently, they have only seen “conservative” orders for the Apple Watch 2 so far.

The report doesn’t go into detail about the suppliers that have been chosen for the new Apple Watch and it does not mention the number of units that Apple is expected to ready ahead of the smartwatch’s launch so take this information with a grain of salt for now.

Apple Watch 2 Rumored To Arrive In September Or October

There isn’t a lot of information available about the Apple Watch just yet, but it’s believed to feature a faster processor, more RAM, improved battery life as well as several other features like built-in GPS and cellular connectivity.

Apple is expected to unveil the new iPhones by mid-September, there will always be the possibility that the new Apple Watch might be unveiled alongside the handset.
