Lenovo logoSo we know that there are several new Motorola handsets in the works, but the question is when will we actually get to see them? Last we heard, Motorola was planning an event in India come 17th of May, but it has been speculated that those might be related to the Moto G4 series of phones designed for the Indian market.

We have also heard the rumors that the Moto X handsets could be launched on the 9th of June, and turns out that the rumors were right. Lenovo has recently announced that they will be hosting an event on the 9th of June in which they are expected to announce several new products, some of which are designed by Motorola.

Lenovo to announce new Motorola phones

According to the announcement, “Lenovo will also announce new mobile technology designed by Motorola that will dramatically change the way people think about and use their most personal devices – in a snap.” It’s an interesting choice of words, “snap”, because last we heard, the Moto X (2016) models could feature snap-on modular accessories.

In any case we guess we’ll find out in about a month’s time, so if the new Moto X handsets are phones you are looking forward to, then check back with us then for the official details.
