Rumored iPhone 6c will feature Touch ID and Apple Pay

Apple iPhone 6According to the rumors, Apple is said to announce the iPhone 6c alongside the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. In fact recent rumors have suggested that Foxconn is apparently hiring more workers so that they will be able to assemble three different Apple iPhone models. Now in terms of specs, it is unclear as to what we might be able to expect from the iPhone 6c.

If the rumors are to be believed, the device is said to feature a 4-inch display, and now thanks to a new report, additional details of the rumored handset have been revealed. According to the report, the iPhone 6c will come with features such as Touch ID and will also support Apple Pay, but there was no mention of whether Force Touch would be a feature in the device.

Despite Touch ID being launched with the iPhone 5s, the cheaper iPhone 5c did not include the feature, possibly to help keep costs down. Apple Pay we suppose is a given especially if Apple is hoping to make Apple Pay the standard of mobile payments. As for Force Touch, we heard that it will cost Apple 2.5 times more than the Apple Watch component.

This means that if Apple wants to keep costs of the rumored 4-inch iPhone 6c down, they will need to cut out some features and it is possible that Force Touch will be one of them. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but there is a chance we might hear more about the device in September so do check back with us then for the hopefully official details.
