iPhone 8 concept jumps two years ahead in time to look at the future of Apple

Apple iPhone 6The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus might have gone on sale not too long ago, but as you know well the situation with Apple rumors, you might not be surprised to see whispers about the next iPhone already doing the rounds. Let's call that imaginary next iPhone, the iPhone 7. Even the most versed in Apple rumors, however, could not have expected this - a concept for the iPhone 8 has surfaced on the interwebs.

Yes, this imaginary iPhone 8, a device that the concept maker obviously expects to arrive in two years. So why do we see it now? There is some sound logic behind its appearance - it's premature, but the reason we're seeing a concept for the iPhone 8 and not iPhone 7 is the fact that Apple has the habit of changing the design language of its smartphones once every two years. That redesign falls exactly on this imaginary iPhone 8, while the next, allegedly iPhone 7, is not expected to feature any major changes in its appearance. This logic falls apart if Apple goes with an iPhone 6s, though, and it might be many more years until the 8th edition arrives, but let's pretend that such complexities won't happen.

And this particular concept - while being based on nothing but thin air - does not look bad at all. A creation of Steel Drake, it approaches the awesome looks of concepts by another Apple-centric concept maker, Martin Hajek. Take a look of the interesting new shapes of this iPhone 8 concept, and don't hesitate to let us know whether you like what you see or not in the comment section below. Hey, and don't forget that fan-made concepts like this one have nothing to do with the reality of Apple's plans - they're just an illustration of someone's dreams and wishes.
