Our friends over at Laptop Logic has posted some information on NVIDIA's newest entry-level mobile GPU unit.? The GeForce Go 7300 will be a 90nm part and fully DirectX 9.0c compliant.
he MR X300 is a 110nm part, lending itself to less power efficiency and a larger die size. Both parts are Direct X 9.0 compliant, but the Go 7300 is specifically 9.0c ready while we couldn't find the same spec for the MR X300. However, we believe the X300 will lead in performance due to its wider memory bus. The Go 7300 has some nice clocks which will help it keep up, but traditionally the memory data bus width has a large impact on performance; especially if we see the Go 7300's in TurboCache (i.e. shared memory) configurations.
